My experience:
Even with the lowest payout per click-through, this is my favourite !! There are three reasons for that:
- Visit their site. About.com has a net-guide for anything you would like to find on the net. You dont get just a link, you get a persons oppinion on the page they link to, and that could really save you some searching on the net. Just go to About.com, and they have already searched for you. All their guides does a fine job, and you can trust them, they now what they do. This is without any competition the best start place for EVERYBODY on the net !!
- Their banners and searchboxes. Mostly their banners. Not only have they 700 experts that guide you on the net, they also give you just as many (almost) banners to promote it !! If you run a gamesite, they have banners that fits your target group. Also if you have a musicpage, sportpage,a page about pets, ANYTHING you may think of. This gives you a very high click-throug rate !! When you have registered, and are looking for banners, you will understand what I mean. Just great !!
- Their partners. About.com has teamed up with other great pages, and have banners for you to promote them. I will mention some to you:
- About ToolBar. About.com and Spedia have partnered to allow our users to get paid to surf (About.com also have teamed up with Clickdough, which now has the name MoveAbout)
- RankPeople. This is a page, where people send in their pictures, and you and me may rank them !!

As I said, only 1 cent per click-throug, but a very high clickrate will bring you fine money anyway !!
