You are now ready to give your page the structure it needs. You know what your page should be about, now you must design it. This is what you must have as content (in addition to your main content)

• A menu/navigation system. Your visitors must have easy access to all your content. Give them that! You will find free navigation at 24fun and The Javascript Source (also take a look an all my links in my link-section). Read throug this E-zine about menus, and get some important information about navigating.

• A trigger !! You must be sure that the visitors returns !! Give them something to come back for. This could be:

  • A competition. People just love them.

  • A game. Also one of the most liked things on the net

  • A daily cartoon, a poll, a chat-applet.

• Read here why a chatroom or discussion board is good for your business !!

• You must deside what design and layout you should use. Remember, there are many different machines out there, some uses Internet Explorer, Some Netscaper or Opera. Some has Javascript enabled, others dont handle DHTML and so on. Also screensizes will make your life as a webmaster a living hell. Most sites on the net are made for 800x600, even if many nowadays gets bigger screens. But, I think you should stick to that sixe too. Now, let me give you some golden links, to get a free design/template for your page. As you see on my pages (see below), I have made this after a design by Keith Hagen. I found him, and the design on Freewebtemplates.com. They have also many good links to other pages with great templates to use. Have a look !!
